Pre-Emmynent Awards

Posted by Mr. Feeny on September 15, 2009

No, this isn’t another fake award competition. I just like puns.

These are the actual Emmy Awards. Only, the ones that don’t get televised and that most Americans don’t really care about. Typical viewers want the glam and glitz of lead and supporting actors and actresses…not best casting or opening theme music. But we’re not typical viewers!!!

OK, we kind of are. These “smaller” Emmys don’t matter much to us either, for the most part. But I think there are some winners that definitely deserve recognition. So here’s a short list of winners. Check the Emmys site for all the winners and nominees.

Also, don’t forget. CJ, Christopher and I will be live blogging on Sunday for the actual Emmys telecast. We hope you make us part of your evening!

I LOVE DR. HORRIBLE! Joss Whedon and Neil Patrick Harris…what could be better.

I’m also glad to see Pushing Daisies get the credit it deserves for my favorite parts of the show!

Didn’t know they gave Emmys to outstanding guest actors, but I did love Tina Fey on SNL during the 2008 election.
