Bill Simmons Talks TV
Posted by Christopher Moltisanti on October 7, 2009
It’s been out for a week, but I’m behind on my podcasts (and my life), so I just heard ESPN’s Bill Simmons’ great TV podcast with NJ Star-Ledger TV critic Alan Sepinwall. They cover a vast terrain, from the best “what if’s” in TV history to the best fall shows to the best first seasons of all time. I take issue with Bill’s skepticism about the carefully crafted nature of the brilliance of “Sopranos” and “Mad Men,” but it’s an entertaining listen nonetheless. And they shamed me into finally committing to watch “The Wire.”
