Two Guys, a Girl and a TV Set

Three college friends out in the world, filling the void with television…and loving it.

Sorry for the radio silence from us, folks, but we’re back and ready to bring you the news on the new shows this fall.  The Emmy commercials got me excited for a slew of new shows, so let’s bring em on!

You can read our review of the new shows on the main page, or see our handy cheatsheet with the new show premiere dates and our grades after they’ve aired.

By the way, Modern Family won an Emmy for best comedy series.  I officially recant my scathing review of the show when it aired last fall.

New show that I already hate [despite having never seen]?  Outsourced.  This NBC Thursday Night Comedy follows an American training a staff of employees in India.  Aren’t we over this yet?  I’m thinking this one will be one to skip.  But hey.  I’ve been wrong before.

You won’t be wrong this time. Critics are universally disgusted by OUTSOURCED. There is no show that’s expected to fail more. But, we’ll watch one episode!

I’m excited for its failure, because hopefully that will bring PARKS AND RECREATION back to my fall lineup.

I think this is going to be a good year for television. Bad year for comedies, though.
